All careers that I’ve enjoyed in my lifetime. I was an educator for 20 years and watching my students grow and thrive was simply amazing. And then working with adults, brought a whole different level of watching people grow and reach their goals. As an entrepreneur, I was able to expand my personal growth and learn how to navigate obstacles and believe in dreams. As an office manager, I really discovered my love of coaching.

But I haven’t always been here. I know what it’s like to live with a cloak of shame and a feeling of utter worthlessness. As a victim of rape and sex trafficking in my early twenties, I lived for over 30 years trying to hide my past and living a diminished, timid life.

However, I discovered a path of deep healing and transformation in my mid-fifties, enabling me to finally break off the shame that held me hostage to my traumatic past. As a result, I found myself rising up and stepping out from my hiding place to stand firmly in the center stage of my life with newfound fearless confidence.

I help established coaches scale beyond 1:1 work by hosting profitable virtual events. I teach coaches how to design, market, and deliver high-converting workshops, summits, and masterclasses that attract ideal clients, increase revenue, and position them as industry leaders. My proven strategies simplify the event process, ensuring coaches can confidently fill their events, engage their audience, and seamlessly convert attendees into paying clients.

I am a 8-time bestselling author. My book, Take Center Stage: Be the Star of Your Own Story, released in January 2022 and is available on Amazon. In this book I share my trauma story and the transformational STAR Process that helped me emerge from behind the curtain to center stage, fearlessly owning my place in the world. Along with the book, I created the Shine Your Light Inner Circle as a place for other women to find their freedom and confidence with guidance and support through a 12-week online program.

I am also a much-requested inspirational speaker, having the exquisite honor of speaking on over 200 virtual and live stages since 2019. It thrills me to share my story so that others can know that they are not alone and that the life they long for is possible and within reach. I joyfully speak on podcasts, summits, and stages, including in my own events, the Virtual Edge Workshop and the Virtual Events Bootcamp 3-day online event.

I truly enjoy connecting with people at a deep level, understanding who they are and helping them grow and develop into who they were meant to be. I started my business the year I turned 61, so I know that it is never too late to do what you love. It is possible, at any age, to make changes and live your passions.

I am married (34 years) and have one amazing daughter who lives in Florida with her husband and two dogs. I am a proud step-grandmother totally embracing the name “Pasta” given me by my step-granddaughter! My husband and I live in Virginia, in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains. I’ve lived here for over 38 years and still love it. I come from a large family and absolutely cherish spending time with all of them.

I am a Christian with a very deep faith. I enjoy dancing, bike riding, hiking, writing and reading. I love to learn and I typically have at least 5 books that I’m reading at any given time. I love to create new ways of empowering women through courses, programs, events, books, and workshops. I am doing what I love and I want to help you do the same!
